The Hilton Singapore Orchard is quite possibly the best Hilton property in Singapore right now with a beautiful Executive Lounge and newly-renovated rooms that have all the necessary essentials.

Hotel Review: Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel (Pool Terrace Room)

The Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel has surprised me tremendously with the Pool Terrace Rooms. While the Executive Rooms were quite typical of a five-star business hotel, the Pool Terrace Rooms are on a whole different league of its own (in the best way possible). Apart from enjoying more space and executive lounge privileges, my experience at the Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza reminded me more of a luxurious spa retreat more than a typical weekend staycation. Having the swimming pool at your doorstep and that amazing lunch at Pool Grill also definitely help to create this unique experience in the heart of Singapore's busiest shopping strip.

Pool Grill at the Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel

Al fresco dining is often not as popular amongst us locals in Singapore but if there's one place I have to choose, it has to be the redesigned Pool Grill on Level Five of the Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel. I stayed at the Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel last year during the Christmas season and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of accommodation - particularly 4 hours of unlimited alcohol in the evening. Hotel Review: Pan Pacific Orchard Road Serviced Suites

More and more Singaporeans have turned to staycations as a solution to get away from the regularity of day to day life. As an avid staycation-goer myself, I rely largely on this little breaks to get myself in tune with the things that matter to me most. As many of you may already know, I am a huge brand supporter of Pan Pacific and I have stayed in the Pan Pacific Singapore and Pan Pacific Orchard (alongside PARKROYAL on Beach Road) multiple times, with the former property being the most frequent - enough to maintain my Global Hotel Alliance (GHA) status year to year. If you are observant enough, you will notice that Singapore has a whole line of Pan Pacific Serviced Suites and I was lucky enough to get invited to check out the Pan Pacific Orchard Road Serviced Suites that is located right above the Somerset MRT.

Hotel Review: Shangri-La Singapore (Garden Wing)

The first flagship hotel by Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts opened in Singapore in 1971. The iconic Shangri-La Singapore, boasting over 15 acres of landscaped gardens is known as the second botanic gardens in Singapore by locals and foreigners alike. I stayed in a Deluxe Pool View Room in the Garden Wing (which obviously overlooks the pool) on a high floor. Offering 50sqm of luxurious space and a private balcony, the room faintly reminds me of a luxurious beach resort.
