Borneo's first Hotel Jen has been announced by Shangri-La International Hotel Management Ltd and Pacific Sanctuary Holdings Sdn Bhd. The brand new Hotel Jen Kota Kinabalu (with an estimated 440 rooms) is slated to open in 2018 and it will be strategically located in PacifiCity - an integrated shopping, entertainment and lifestyle hub - which is located along the the scenic coastal highway of Kota Kinabalu.

The new Hotel Jen Kota Kinabalu will continue to feature the fresh, friendly and fuss-free genre that is evident across all Hotel Jen properties since its launch slightly over a year ago. I have personally stayed in two different Hotel Jen properties:

Hotel Jen Kota Kinabalu will be located ontop of the premier shopping, entertainment and lifestyle destination, PacifiCity. It will connect hotel guests to world-class shopping while offering expansive views of the South China Sea, coastal wetlands as well as the majestic Mount Kinabalu. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding area and local culture, Hotel Jen Kota Kinabalu will be comprised of two iconic towers and it will also have resort-standard facilities that are share with the PacifiCity Club - there is also going to be a 75-metre resort-style pool here!

Both the Hotel Jen Orchardgateway Singapore as well as Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore have just introduced Jeno and Jena at their respective properties who will be responsible from delivering simple things like in-room amenities to in-room dining orders when they are being placed.

I visited Beijing in China for the first time last month where I flew down from SIN to PEK on Singapore Airlines in Business Class (check out my trip report on SQ802 HERE!). As one of the first passengers to disembark from the plane, I was able to clear immigration fairly quickly and got out of the airport in approximately 30 to 45 minutes. I then met with a representative from Hotel Jen Beijing (which has only quite recently opened) in the public area of the Beijing Capital International Airport before hopping onto a vehicle that took me directly to this newly-built property that is directly connected to the China World Complex.
