Three New Hotels in Sentosa Unveiled by Far East Hospitality - The Barracks Hotel, The Outpost Hotel and Village Hotel

While 2018 is a fairly unimpressive year where new hotel openings are concerned (even though we will finally see The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore opening later this year), Far East Hospitality will be opening three new properties in Sentosa come 2019. The company has just announced The Barracks Hotel which is the third and last property on the man-made island and this is going to be operating under a new brand under its portfolio. All three hotels will be located at the Artillery Avenue in the Palawan area of Sentosa.

The Barracks Hotel will be housed within a conserved colonial building and it will leverage on the building's (and area's) rich heritage and history to provide an exclusive (there are only 40 rooms and suites here) and alluring getaway experience for discerning travellers. The brand has identified the key target markets as Australia, China, Germany, India, Japan, Russia, United Kingdom, and the United States.

The Outpost Hotel which was first announced back in October 2017 will cater to millennials and young couples who have a distinct difference in preferences from families and groups - this property aims to attract travellers who prefer an unobtrusive service style as well as those that value exclusivity.

Finally, the Village Hotel at Sentosa will be an expansion of the already-established Village brand. With 606 rooms and suites, the Village Hotel at Sentosa will target the mid-tier market which will include travellers from regional and international markets as well as Singaporeans looking for a family weekend getaway. Village Hotel at Sentosa will also be an ideal location for business meetings, networking events, as well as company retreats, with team-bonding activities such as cooking and fitness classes available. The brand seeks to deliver memorable experiences that enable guests to eat, play, and explore like a local.
