Surf & Turf Dinner Buffet at Edge (Pan Pacific Singapore) on Tuesdays

Edge at the Pan Pacific Singapore is one of Singapore's best buffet spots - the variety is just incredible (you can NEVER eat everything in one visit) and the price is reasonable for what you are getting - Hooked @ Edge which features a wide selection of fresh seafood has always been a crowd favourite on Wednesdays and Thursdays each week! The newly-released Surf & Turf dinner buffet replaces the previous Cuts @ Edge dinner promotion that runs every Tuesday. In short, you can now enjoy the best of both worlds (seafood and meats) on Tuesday at the Pan Pacific Singapore.

Since Surf & Turf offers the freshest produce from sea and on land, you will not miss out on the delicious Alaskan crab legs, freshly shucked oysters, prawns, scallops as well as a selection of fresh sashimi (octopus, swordfish, tuna and salmon) and sushi. It is worth noting that the Boston Lobsters (usually available during Hooked @ Edge) were missing in action though.

Wagyu Beef with Salmon Chirashi
Surf & Turf Dinner Buffet (Tuesdays only) - Pan Pacific Singapore

One of the specialties you should look out for is the Wagyu Beef with Salmon Chirashi - there are also other variants here but did you really come to a buffet to have rice?

Whole Baby Lamb
Surf & Turf Dinner Buffet (Tuesdays only) - Pan Pacific Singapore

You can definitely tell that the Surf & Turf Dinner Buffet is serious about meats - check out that whole baby lamb (which may be a little intimidating for some) with a selection of sauces and mezza condiments to go with it!

Wagyu Rump
Surf & Turf Dinner Buffet (Tuesdays only) - Pan Pacific Singapore

If you do not like the taste of lamb, fall in love with the huge slab of Wagyu rump with gremolata located right next to it. Honestly, it is somehow gratifying to watch the knife go through this slab of beautifully-cooked meat. Choose from a variety of freshly grilled vegetables and choose a sauce to go with it - I personally like it on its own!

Grill Station
Surf & Turf Dinner Buffet (Tuesdays only) - Pan Pacific Singapore

if your craving for meat is still not satisfied by the time you are done with the lamb and the Wagyu rump, you should definitely check out the grill station (just remember to take one of those wooden sticks from your table along with you) where you will be able to select from a selection of premium meats, the famous Pan Pacific sausages and prawns. Since this is a buffet, you can obviously get unlimited servings of this - just order it at the counter and they will bring them to you (you do get your sticks back but honestly, there are so many so order away!).

The grill counter of Edge is one of my favourites - on Hooked @ Edge nights (Wednesdays and Thursdays), you can select from fresh scallops, prawns, squids and even fish here! As I have mentioned, the Pan Pacific sausages are really quite good (you can even get them are leading supermarkets and major delis in Singapore) so you should definitely give them a try when you are here!

Selection of Roasted Delights
Surf & Turf Dinner Buffet (Tuesdays only) - Pan Pacific Singapore

There is also a decent selection of roasted delights at Edge - I really enjoy the roasted duck breast with the plum sauce and feel free to get creative with the noodles and the meats - I have once sampled a laksa with roasted pork and absolutely loved it!

Noodle Station
Surf & Turf Dinner Buffet (Tuesdays only) - Pan Pacific Singapore

As mentioned earlier, there is a noodle station that is located right next to the roasted selection. As far as I know, the noodle and soup selection changes on a regular basis so be sure to pop by just to see if there is something you like or wish to try.

Satays
Surf & Turf Dinner Buffet (Tuesdays only) - Pan Pacific Singapore

Also, no one can resist the smell (and taste!) of freshly grilled satays and guess what? There are four types to choose from at the Surf & Turf buffet - Chicken, Mutton, Beef and Prawns. Pair these nicely charred pieces of meat with some fresh onions and cucumber pieces before dipping into that delicious peanut sauce for the ultimate indulgence.

Here's a fun fact - prawn satays at Lau Pa Sat are going at S$2 a piece when I visited it a couple of weeks ago so take my advice and have some here at Pan Pacific Singapore instead!

Indian Cuisine
Surf & Turf Dinner Buffet (Tuesdays only) - Pan Pacific Singapore

Finally, be sure to give the Indian selection a try because no one says no to quality Indian Cuisine. I really enjoyed the Chicken 65, the lamb curry and the mushroom rice that went perfectly with every dish.

End the buffet dinner off with some sweet treats at the impressive dessert spread at Edge - look out for the famous Durian Pengat and be sure to try the waffles (I like them with plenty of kaya!). Also, remember that the dinner buffet comes with free-flowing local beverages (which changes from time to time) as well as coffee and tea. There is also an option of free-flowing wine (red and white!) for a supplement of S$10++ per person.
