90% Off Redemption for GarudaMiles Members - Pay only 10% of Required Miles!
If you are thinking about checking out the First Class Cabin of Garuda Indonesia, you can save up to 90% off the required miles (that's right, you only pay 10% of what is generally required!) on all domestic and international routes for bookings made between 22 December 2016 and 31 December 2016 - you will have to travel between 01 February 2017 and 31 May 2017 though!

To calculate the number of required miles on each Garuda Indonesia flight, check out the Redeem Miles Calculator or this Redemption Table for more information. Basically take every number there and divide it by 10 to get the required miles under this promotion - fascinating! To put some things in perspective, you can essentially redeem a flight from Jakarta (CGK) to Amsterdam (AMS) which is a 14.5 hours flight for just 19,000 Miles one way under this promotion. If you are based in Singapore, you will probably have to look at converting your Citi Miles or Reward Points for GarudaMiles.

Special shout-out to lcpteck for alerting me to this promotion! Honestly, this has got to be the most generous offer there is in redemption history. Remember you do need to convert some credit card points into GarudaMiles (unless you have sufficient number of miles in your account already) before calling the call center for redemption (it cannot be done over the phone if you wish to take advantage of this promotion).
